About Philsens lille blæsebælg

Founded in 2025, Philsens lille blæsebælg is a concert wind ensemble with a clear artistic profile and a fixed 34-player instrumentation.

The instrumentation is inspired by the Kongelige Livgardes Musikkorps of the Danish Royal Guard. Alongside international street and concert marches, Danish royal marches are part of the repertoire.

The ensemble performs exclusively in a concert setting, does not march, and deliberately avoids uniforms. Selected international street and concert marches are interpreted as concert repertoire - with a special focus on sound, precision and ensemble culture.

Work is project-based: rehearsals and concert dates are planned specifically for each project. Musical responsibility is shared by the group - the ensemble performs without a conductor.

The association does not compete with existing wind bands. Repertoire, format and working style clearly differ from traditional wind orchestras and marching bands.
